front fenders

Post by T-Bone »

I was wondering how hard it is to find front fenders for our tercels and how much would they cost (new or used)? This summer I am looking to replace both of my front fenders because they have a lot of rust on them. I think they hold the most of the rust that my tercel has. Is there a difference between the fenders on some of the tercels, because of the change in the headlights? I have an 88.

I just a passenger fender for my 86 for $75 in Oregon. The turn signal assembly was $30. I've seen them for $60 on ebay but they want $50 in shipping.

However, any tercel in your year should be compatible. Call up some junk yards.

I think I got the same ones as the ones on eBay. My Dad got a set a while ago, both weren't real Toyota, so were under $100 CDN. THe only problem is you get what you pay for sometimes; mine fit pretty good, but he had to do some work to his to get them to line up and not have too big gaps. I'd almost say go with real Toyota ones if I had to do it over again.
