Oil light keeps coming on and off

The oil light keeps coming on and off and usually stays on at an idol. This just started recently but I have no idea why. Is this a sign of something goin out? Oil pump maybe?? Idk it still runs amd drives good its only got 113000 miles on it and I do everything to keep the car running tip top. I was just curious if anyone else has experienced this issue.

Either your oil pressure is low, or the oil pressure sender is faulty. They are really cheap and easy to replace (located right by the oil filter) so I would replace it first and see if the light goes away. If it does, the sender was the problem. If it doesn't, I think you need to do a bottom end rebuild.

Awesome man, I will do that I don't think it'll be a rebuild as it is in great shape but I will definitely swap out the sender. I'll let you know how it goes. Thank you so much
