how to verify year of motor
i am considering changing out my crank as its knocking. i've had several tercels from 83-86 and motors have been swapped over time so I can't remember what year motor is in which car. It appears that the the 1452 cc motor had one crank from 80-84, but changed it in 85. can anyone tell me how to verify the year of the motor from the castings or elsewhere? thanks
