Rear Drive Shaft U Joints

Post by marlinh »

I am wondering if anyone has ever found an aftermarket universal joint that fits our Tercels.

I think so, have you searched the archives? I know there was a replacement found for the small steering shaft u-joints.

many parts places can match what you have if you can get accurate dimensions of what is there now. Toyota did not make the u-joins, they bought them from a supplier, we just need to find out what supplier. I would bet it is the same u-joint as the rwd corolla as well. I have not looked for any since I have a whole spare good driveshaft assembly.

From the FB page,

“the joint number is nepco 1-0430 or rockford 430-10 or skf uj10430,,,i find the skf one a better joint i use around 100 of them a year”
