I was considering this one but changed my mind. The seller found it sitting in somebody's yard for the last 10 years and cleaned it up, but said the trans whines in all gears except 4th. I asked if he had checked the trans oil level and he said no. I asked how long he has been driving it like and he said about a month. If it had been like a few days and not driving very far, I would have possibly given it a shot but my bet is that one of the CV axle seals or the 4wd shifter seal has been leaking for those 10 years so now it's critically low on gear oil, and the seller has probably just trashed the trans by driving it like this for that long. Very unfortunate.
It also needs some other work like inner tie rods, engine mount, CV axles, carb needs adjustment. The work the seller has done on it include "ignition parts, new fuel pump, went through the brake calipers and new wheel cylinders. New rad, new wheel bearings." It's a shame they did that other stuff but not the most crucial task of checking the trans oil.
The interior looks really clean though, and the exterior isn't the worst I've seen, and I love this colour. Sigh.
