Nice looking Tercel for sale in Adelaide, SA on LPG
This tercel from the tradingpost.com.au runs on Liqued Petroleum Gas which retails for about 50c a litre in Australia (compared to $1.25 a litre for petrol) although it sucks about 25% of your power out of the engine and puts a massive round tank in your trunk. Easier mod than a diesel though and you can still run on petrol at the flick of a switch
Really strange spot to put speakers too! But good looking Terc except for that!

Thanks for the pix.
Yes it really is a clean car - guess the previous owners never had rug rats dropping ice cream and soda on the seats.
I am curious about the two small black panels on the dash immediately below the instrument lighting rheostat; they are what?
I had not expected all of the heater controls to be reversed in RHD cars; I would have thought it would be simpler to leave them as in LHD versions (or vice-versa - not to be Leftie-Centric...).
I also expected the glovebox latch to droop opposite of our LHDs - but it droops at the right-hand corner as well. Seems worthy of a paper?
I'm also envious of the shoulder belts in the rear.

The 2 black little devices are for the Liqued Petroleum Gas the one on the right being a row of LCD's for the fuel gauge and the left being a switch for the on the fly petrol/LPG switch. All cabs and some buses run on LPG in Australia. LPG does seem to dry out the Valve Seat Stems apparently.
the little cut out thing above is a factory cut out panel to put in some aftermarket switch gear. I also have a round one on the right to facilitate a choke if I ever get my weber put on.
Yep Glovebox droop has always been a problem in this hemisphere also.
All the Aussie cars have rear retractable seat belts. Will gather some when I need to go to the wreckers. Saying that though, my car is not missing much right now
Cheers
