I don't know if there have been reports in the magazines yet, but this is something that appeared
in the Automotive section of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch today. This was written by the Editor, who
actually does offroading seriously, as well as writing minireports on various cars.

The spec sheet is not reproduced in the online version of the article, but the economy with the V6
is pretty bad: 2WD Auto only 18/22 ~ 4WD 6-speed Manual 16/19 ~ 4WD 5-speed Auto 17/21.
I guess offroad it really sucks it up?
I was surprised at the weight - but then I've never looked at the weight of real offroad devices
- it's 4290 pounds for the 4WD - almost a ton more than the Tercel...
