Tercel is lighter. Suby has IRS rear end and flat 4 engine. Tercel is tougher in my opinion. Suby has more power.

Need evidence? We took my car off a jump 6x today to try and get the shot right. Got min. of 6 inch air each time. Then proceeded out to the highway where we pegged the speedo. After 10 min of that we went to work.

legendary toyota reliability vs. weak as NZ beer -subaru
tercels are renowned for wanting a bit of air under their wheels,
we were cruising around 50kms/hr along a dune track and hit a set of dirtbike jump/mounds, the car leaped and danced over the first 5 then cleared the last 3 and and extra 2m (no tracks on sand)
the contents of the car dissapeared out the window , but all that the car got was a split suspenson mount, too easy
