This is the first Tercel I have messed with that had a leaking oil pan.
All of the screws were loose.
I was worried about getting them tight because its so tight under there.
But I managed to get it done using a 1/4" drive ratchet with extension and universal joint.
For one of the screws i had to cut the ten mm socket down to 5/8" length.
Edit addition : i had to use a 10 mm wrench on one bolt (driver side rear)

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

Re: Tightening Loose Oil Pan Screws
you can reach them all with th 1/4 drove socket, a u-joint and a short open end wrench for a few locations. make sure you do not over tighten them, that will also cause them to leak. I think they get only about 16 in-lbs, (1.3 ft-lb), over tightening will also cause them to leak when the oil pan is distorted.
