I am in search of a stock roof rack for my Tercel wagon. I believe I see two stock versions, a longer one that runs from the rear of the roof to the B-Pillar and a shorter one that runs from the rear of the roof to a spot in the middle of the rear door.
This is what I am after.
The two look like different designs as well, so likely one is not stock?
All education appreciated and if you have one a similar length to the first photo you are willing to part with (for a price), let me know.
Thanks,
Chris

I've owned multiple Tercel wagons with either style racks. Not sure they were "factory" or dealer installed. Currently have a long style rack on my wrecked '88 sr5 that i'd sell for $25 plus the ride. Shipping could get pretty expensive- I'm in Baltimore, MD. I could probably take it apart and ship it in a length of 4" PVC pipe. You don't have a sunroof in your car do you? I think the mounting nutserts might interfere with the sunroof mechanism.
Let me know, Rich.
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!
83 SR5 Silver/Blue (Snowmobile/work beater)-totaled but drivable
85 SR5 Blue
88 SR5 White (the 'good' one)-not anymore-totaled
87 fwd silver wagon a/t
87 4wd dx Cream (a/t- not anymore- now m/t)
I have a factory sunroof in my 84 Terc 4WD with the lond factory roof rack, no interference what so ever, so you won't have any problem installing it. Good luck, they sure come on handy, i've had some wicked loads on my, they are strong.

Rich,
No sunroof in my car. I'm sure it would have to be in pieces and boxed to ship reasonably, but I would expect it to come apart depending on fasteners. If everything is rusted and has to be drilled or spun off, it could be a huge PITA. My address is 37156 State Hwy N, Barnard, MO 64423 for a shipping estimate. Not having a stock roof rack originally, I expect I will need to drill the roof and add support and nuts where needed. A pic would be great if you get a chance, but the longer rack is what I'm interested in, so it sounds like we might be in business.

Thanks for the input. I'm sure I'll find a use for it if I get one AND I prefer the look of it as well, a little more SUVish. Actually, I haul honey supers once or twice a year when I spin out the honey and a piece of plywood and some straps on the roof would beat tossing them in the rear (which is what I will do in a couple of weeks).
