Here's me going up a steep little sandy trail a few hours from where I live. The car did a lot better than I thought it would even though there was sand brushing against the floorboards. I imagine it's a bit like driving through deep snow.

It's a lot easier when there is good backup with the landcruiser, and I aired down to 18psi but would be much easier with some more front clearance.

Wasn't too much of an issue as the various rubber inner guards most of it kept out I still find some in odd places however! good news is that sand is not embedded with salt as it was well away from the beach.
