so i have gone through and through vaccume lines and am going crazy. i got the 83 3ac motor, stock carb i think and no air breather housing. i have some hesitation at about 50% throttle both ways (from 51%-100% and from idle to 50) if this is confusin please tell me
i think i have come to the conclusion that the secondary barrel isn't opening. i can't seem to figure out why it dosen't open. i put a tv antenna in it revved it up and it ran like a scolded dog. i can't keep my buddy ray in the hood to push it for me (no clearence) so anyone have any idea?

As far as I know the 2nd barrel is activated by vacuum by a circuit in the carb.
There are some vac lines around the carb also...from place to place on the carb?
Spray some carb cleaner on the secondary butterfly shaft to loosen it up???
Try the idea of spraying carb cleaner in the tubes you see to clean the bowl and the rest of the carb?
