I realize I am a complete newbie to the club here, but as it happens I may be down on the coast for a friend's wedding at the end of June. If the opportunity presents itself, I hope I could get the chance to mingle with the 'big wigs' of Tercel4wd!

Just tell them when you cross the border that the reason for the trip is to visit friends.

I'd like to try but I'm looking at a total dismantling of my car if I attempt! Lol. Maybe one day we could organize one in B.C. at one point? I'd love to go, but ........!

As we bring Meat our self for BBQ of course , what about Pot Lock .we bring ( buns/ potatoes salad/ other salad , any cold or hot meals / so on ) for pot luck . I can bring warm meals , no fruit / veggies , the US boarder will dump them in the garbage .
Anyway I leave up to you guys to make a lists.

just bring your spices and mixing bowls, you can get the ingredients on this side of the boarder and make it here! Packages food should not be a problem, it is only certain types of fresh produce (they are worried of spreading Canadian produce diseases to US growers).

I think they worry for nothing! Cause I live at 20min from Oroville and Osoyoos is right beside! I work in a orchard sometime in the cherry harvest right beside the fence of a US grower and sometime there is a Canadian cherry tree branches that hangs right over the US! Lol

Raw Fruits and Veggies that they don't want in USA but Cooked Veggie might be ok , I will double check at the boarder .

Yesterday I talk to US boarder , for Canadian going to US side . We can bring any cook Vegetable ( as pot luck) and Meat ( NO Lamb and Goat ) hmm interest meat .

I'll call SNOHO Parks and Rec on Monday and make sure we're all good.

The idea will be a meet and great for Tercel 4WD members, friends and families. PotLuck BBQ with two plus grills and an expected attendance of no less than 7 members and as much or more cars.

Please feel free to bring food and drink to share and a spirit for camaraderie and love for the Tercel 4WD.

This will be a rain or shine event. If weather is super uncooperative we may relocate to a dryer location.

sounds perfect, synth. with bruce's latest info in mind, i will bring a big batch of potato salad for the gang. there will be mucho egg in it because that's the best part.

what time should we meet? i'm going to suggest 3:00 only because i will be taking the sidney to anacortes ferry, arriving in anacortes at 2:00. google maps says it's another hour to lake goodwin from there. how does 3:00 work for other people?

i'm considering camping. are there any campsites near lake goodwin?
