that one came with the car when I got it and actually Tercel4wdrules bought it for that car. I am not familiar with the claims of the fram airhog, it might be good. the most commonly known reusable air filter is the k and N, which is costly and it does not filter out fine dust as good as a regular paper element. I would not buy one. if the airhog filters fine dust out good, and it is the same price, it might be worth a try.

I have had bad luck with Beck-Arnly, wrong parts in the box too often. I avoid them if I can, too bad they used to be a great parts supplier. You might be okay with them, it was just a bad experience with beck-arnly piston rings, and than something else I can not recall. I still use them if that is the only one available, but be careful.

I did some research and the Airhog is similar to a K&N, you need to wash it with special stuff then oil it, again with special stuff. Perhaps I will just use paper filters!

Tom, yeah they're on wholesale clearance! If that is a good price maybe I need some spares.

WOW $6 each for motor mounts!
Everyone should check theirs & buy 'em for the future, if not for now - I replaced mine some years ago because the D/S was oil-rotten, and believe me, it made a difference.
Of course, I also installed the new trans mount.

►►► Mentioning trans mounts - I just checked RA's site and the three that are shown:
DEA brand "Standard trans" #A2365 @ $2.81 is actually for an AT;
Beck-Arnley brand "rear" #1040968 @ $13.66 is also for an 2WD MT, although the photo is for an AT;
Anchor brand #8377 @ $21.79 is the correct trans mount. ►► still a great price - about 1/2 the amount from AZ or ADV or O'R!
Rock Auto has not changed the descriptions since 2006...

When you install the mounts, see https://tercel4wd.com/forums/viewtopic.php? ... lit=mounts

I see FWD and 4WD A/T mounts, how many are needed for the transmission? The service manual is unhelpful in this regard unless I'm missing something.

unless the mount was contaminated and it decomposed, I have found the trans mounts are useually fine to reuse. there is one mount at the back of the trans, along with the two front engine mounts these three (two engine mounts and one rear trans mount) support the whole engine/trans assembly.

Phew, massive rockauto order completed! I'm not sure how they are going to ship everything I ordered for $30 all told...

If I wasn't so sick I'd be more excited about tearing the blown engine out of the car...

Bumping this, putting another order in for random stuff I missed.

I was wondering, is it worth replacing the oxygen sensor if it only has 60k miles on it?
