You can buy factory quality parts from NAPA on-line and Rockauto by just ordering the same brand that the factory uses. Just watch for Aisin, Toyo, etc. when ordering.

I have found I can get parts sometimes much cheaper than rockauto by ordering them through their website, for local store pick-up. No shipping charge and typically 10 percent off retail. but I can get them same or next day, no extra charge!

Sometimes Autozone is cheaper deleiverd to your house if you order more than $100, no shipping cost, though I notice that sometimes Autozone has only remanufactured items or commie made parts for our cars, Napa usually has same as factory Japanese made parts for similar prices. those are the three places I check when buying parts.

That's good to know. I have only used rockauto a few times and have been pleased. Our motorcycle shop is supposed to get a discount at napa and car quest but I have been had numerous times. Example.... I walk in, grab a qt of trans oil last year. Price on shelf is $5.75. Go to the counter, keep in mind they know me, asked me if I want to put it on our account. Sure, why not, we get a "discount" leave with oil and put some in my old Range Rover. Get back to our shop so I can bill it out to myself..... Receipt reads like this. Retail $7.79 Wholesale (our account price) $6.29?! I call down and ask how in the Hell my discount price is more than retail on the shelf!! He says "its just a numbers game!" I work in retail sales and would never have the audacity to tell a customer that! I would have been better off to walk in and pay shelf price!

Thanks for the advice I really do appreciate the help.

BTW I found a good website for part diagrams and oe numbers oemtoyotapartsgroup.com where should I post this? Not too familiar with forums/boards. Learning every day!
