The funniest part of this whole listing is this same car (St Louis Cardinals decals and all) was on copart not even 4 months ago.

I bet it sold for under $2K. The dealer must have put $6K worth of armor all on it.

I chatted with a guy on another site who likes the first gen Tercels. He called the dealer and offered $4000 cash--- the dealer wouldn't budge at all on the price.

I think it would be ridiculous to spend this much on a 1st gen tercel. The 2nd gen Tercel was a safer car and also had a number of improvements.
