how did you first meet/start digging tercs?

It all started because of my mom which she bought 1981 Toyota Celica since 1984 ( she still own it ,un-insurance ),during 1984 my Father was driving BMW 320i and i was driving 1967 Cortina GT , then my father was having frustrating time to keep up maintaining his BMW , everytime he complain about his car problem , My mom kept singing that she say , "YOU SHOULD BUY A TOYOTAAAHH!, Then fews years goes by my father had Skoda and I had 1975 Ponatic and 1966 Barracuda, and others, My father still not happy with his cars and complains , every times My mom hear his complains, she continue to say "YOU SHOULD BUY A TOYOTAAAHH!" ha ha then approx 10 years goes by (1984) my father finally give up and bought 1982 Toyota Celica , a year later , he was very happy with his Celica, then I was sharing story about my car problem to my father then he respond to me by singing "YOU SHOULD BY TOYOTAAAHH!, hmmm , then I didn't want Celica because it to low and lack of space , then someone told me "don't buy cars that has low mileage but instead of high mileage " what he meant look for varies cars to compare ,low mileage mean trouble or lack of reliable and high mileages are meant reliables , It not always true but it a start , so i look into newspaper's classified then it end up 1980 -1986 Tercel has the highest mileage of all Toyotas and very few for sale , so spent 2 weeks looking for Tercels , meanwhile I went to see Tercel 4WD which I DIDN'T know they made those cars BUT I only had $ 1,000 in pocket which most of them were $2,000-3,500 range on the year of 1995.
So I end you buying 1983 Tercel 2 DR hatchback "it a SR5" brand with 254,000 Km so that Average 21,000 KM per year, since i was driving this car , I have been thinking about Tercel 4WD untill I bought 1986 Tercel 4WD on 1999 but the 3a-c motor was crack few weeks later and swap the motor from my first Tercel and continue driving for next 10 years spring 2009 ,it reach up to 408,000 km and still running strong but rusted body was falling apart till I start shopping another Tercel 4Wd at Washington State and found 1983 Silver, still drivng it now.
P.S. I got my wife 1985 Tercel FWD S.W on 2004 , then bought 1986 Tercel 4 DR hatchback on spring 2009 then accident at Fall 2009, now that her third 1985 Tercel 4DR out of total 11 th Tercels since 1995 we bought ( she have to drive Automantic)
