I actually like iteration two. The fender flares, wide wheels, and bumper extensions (word ?) when combined with the shoebox body are just a wee bit reminiscent of a vintage car with cycle fenders. It's almost like the body is suspended.

Yes, option two is my ultimate street machine. For what I have in mind for other one would not be practical for street use.

I always loved this variant:

Slower but more 'chuckable' than you'd think - lots of fun to drive to the limit, with amazingly predictable understeer.
