We found it for sale a couple years ago. The guy we bought it from drove it up here from TX and then either put it up for sale or my dad detected it coming across the NB/NS border, he has a nose for the things. Dad bought it and I drove it home. Was the first other than mine I've driven any distance, was fun. Still has all the "Tehhhxas" stickers too.

I very rarely see one, here on Long Island, N.Y.

However I saw one on the Jersey Turnpike ( go figure) Around 2 Am lol. The driver (college aged kid)must have thought I was nuts, pulling up alongside honking my horn and waving with enthusiasm.

I would love to see more, but I don't hold my breath

I've only ever seen two in my town (not often), once saw a white one that waved at me, and then my friend has one. Other than that, I've never seen another. :-(

the datfukkendog.com issue is my other domain, which is used as a backup for this one, so ignore it.

There are a couple around here - I just spotted a silver '84 4WD identical to mine on Thursday but didn't have time to track him down. I'll keep my eyes open....

My oldest sister told me about a red one in Waltham, MA owned by a black guy that is, I don't know, probably around my age, has a do-rag and rapper earrings, like me, lol, and his was in very good condition I heard! :) I told her that if she is in Waltham again, sees him and that car again to get his email address and his name and/or his license plate number so I can track him down and see who he is and see if he has a FaceBook account and friend him and maybe have a Tercel meet with him, if he's down for ish like that! :) I really want to meet that brotha! ;) :) 8) The year of his, I don't know, I wasn't with her the day and time she saw it... :( I'm assuming his had nice big chrome rimz on his which would make me really jealous because I want 20-22" LEXANI Seven chrome's for mine! :)

i am sorry to anouce that one of our beloved cars has been extermly damaged   a freind of mine has a 1987 sr5 6 speed 4x4 blue tercel and it was (key word WAS!!) in perfect condition. we had a party at his place for the long weekend and he has a long down hill durt driveway . anyways some freinds tht are no longer freind desided to roll his car sideways down the hill     .so the car is totlled. and now he is looking to find a new one to put all of his parts on it. in total he has put $7000 into it's interor and a $3000 paint job and a brandnew motor, trans, and everything els. there is nothing original on the car. even the wires are new so if any of you know of a cheep canadian car that he could get. but as little rust as posible plz and sorry i have no pics and he dose not want me to post he is extremly sad and pissed off. thanks CALVIN

I'm wondering why someone would assume another T4WD would have "big chrome rimz" (sic)?

Note to blade: Was your friend a member here? I don't think I recall you mentioning this car before. It certainly would be interesting to read of the stuff he did to it, if not see photos.

If someone rolled my car...on purpose...it wouldnt be pretty..

there are still lots here on vancouver island. especially on the smaller gulf islands, which are the canadian version of the san juan islands. all the hippies out there love them and you can always find ones that have never had an oil change in their 25+ years of life, still puttering around. before i joined this forum i had seen a few really nice ones that were in great shape so i guess there is a high percentage of enthusiasts in the region. just the other day i met a girl who had an '83 4WD SR5 that was orange with a beige hood and rear door, almost rust free. i immediately assaulted her with questions and scoped out her car. naturally, she too was a hippy--her dog was named apocalypse. pretty classic scene.

If someone rolled mine, I'd be really annoyed and I would probably not take too kindly to it and I would probably show my gangster side on the perpetrator, lol! :D But that sucks Blade that you went through that! :( good luck to your friend, who invested a great deal of money put in to that charmer to get it up to standards, I guess! :)))) If I knew the dude, I'd make him pay big time! :)))
