Wow congrads Barto!
I hope it goes off without a hitch.
Maybe October 2th? Thats a Sat. And to answer your question I get off work at 4pm, So there is still enough light at that point to make it worth it I think?
But if that does not work I can do sundays and mondays or most evenings work for me if I have enough plan time.

Re: victoria bc meet-up
i like the pregnant pause after the "getting married" statement, very loaded. where you doing it bart? i just got hitched 2 weeks ago in duncan and it was perfect. about 160 guests and about 145 of them were pals. good times. except for the fact my woman inexplicably became a raving banshee ever since that day. weird.
i can do the afternoon of oct. 2nd. i've got something till 3 in duncan but can be in vic by 4:30 or so. ja?

You DO have a confidential password for this site, right? They have ways of retribution unfamiliar to a newly-wed male - and I know that many are able to read...davidlucasbarnes wrote:...except for the fact my woman inexplicably became a raving banshee ever since that day. weird.

4:30 Oct 2nd works for me, I'm off at 4 so that gives me time to meet up anywhere we decide too.
Does that work for anyone else? Any ideas on places?

yup, i'm down. we could just on burnside where you're always parked for work, homeskool. that's a big parking lot with lots of space and easy access. plus it's already a classic tercel-sighting area. i think last time i suggested QV's on the corner of gov't and fisgard, there's less parking there but there is, of course, coffee. either one is fine by me.

Re: victoria bc meet-up
I'm down, but I'm also fine post poning untill a following weekend if we don't get enough people. Meeting where my car is usally parked is fine too like you suggested. I work at a computer store called face 2 face computers in that plaza right beside the parking lot on burnside. I close the store at 4, I park my car right infront of the store on Saturdays and not that larger employee parking lot where my car normaly is. Let me know if anyone is guna show up!

Re: victoria bc meet-up
homeskool, let's postpone it. i hate doing so but barto doesn't have his whip and sunray is busy with work. if i lived in town i'd be glad to come shoot the shit and check out your stereo but i live in shawnigan so it's a PITA to drive in to vic--i avoid it as much as i can, especially since the "colwood crawl" has been worse than ever this year. november it is!
