Synth, I thought the "32/32" referred to the diameter of the primary and secondary circuits (in millimeters). What was involved in making your carb a 32/34? Was this a jetting modification?
You are correct in reference to the diameter of the circuits. As for what's involved, I think the guy I got it from had Carb. Connection, a local carb. shop, ream out the hole and had different corresponding jets installed. I'm not sure what the complete process is though.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a good source to purchase an adapter plate for the Weber 32/36 carb. The part number is 99004.250 and Carbsonly (http://www.carbsonly.com/) is selling it for $60! That's nearly double what earlier posts say ($33). Can anyone give me a recommendation on where to find this part for cheaper than $60?

Try Carbs Unlimited, from whom I purchased my kit in late '08, it now has the adapter for $46.88.

I found this outfit to be the most reasonable back then - and it would switch out the aircleaner for the short one at N/C.
Be sure to get the bolts which are installed in it which then secure it to the carb.

Note, however - and this would apply to all of the adapters, as they are all made by Redline...I had to ream and drill and ovalize the holes to fit both the manifold and the carb. A bit of a PITA, and mentioned in my post on alehander's thread:

EDIT:
JAM Engineering's site still has it for $33 ! Give 'em a call.
