Welcome to the list! Building special cars for such an event makes good sense. Many years ago I worked for a repair shop in Santa Monica California who who rally a Volvo sedan in similar events. Now known as SCCA pro rally, and also World cup rally for simply speed event on rough roads. I like the concept of penalty for too fast or too slow a finish, keeps you from making foolish errors by miss judging condition and less costly on car repairs.
