3 sets of tires: The first was $50 (wheels and all) from the junkyard. The second was about $150, and the last set cost me $128.
Junkyard driver's seat- $10.
New windshield last year- $129.
New Toyota pads last year- $33. AutoZone rotors- $10 each. Toyota shoes- about $30, $10 for a pair of junkyard drums, and $7 each for the wheel cylinders.
Lifetime rebuilt alternator- $39.
Lifetime rebuilt starter- $39.
Water pump- $19.
Rear struts- $70. Fronts- $20.
New CV halfshafts- $112 from Rock Auto. 2 remans from the 'Zone- $100
H4 headlights- $24
Reman Carb from ebay- $60 shipped
Valve seals and valve cover- $26.
There have been many little things as well, and some not so little. I have a remanufactured steering rack, A/C compressor, new drier and hoses, expansion valve, etc. I probably have close to $200 in all that. I bought a parts car some time back and used the radiator in my car. I made money on the parts, though, so that's more than a wash.
