EMPI axles

Need a car part and don't know where to get it or how to install it. Look here!

When I spoke with the axle rep at Empi a couple of weeks ago, he said their axles weren't the typical cheap asian junk new axles that had been available for a while. I know that AutoZone offered new Tercel axles for $99 about 2 years ago, but I never looked at one. While I knew that at the price of the Empis they couldn't be made in the US, I didn't bother to ask where they were coming from.

Still, buying these has to be better than buying rebuilds that haven't had the outer joint reworked.

Quick update. I have replaced both axles with EMPI's. They are working very well for us. No more clicking, clunking or other noises, the transmission even shifts smoother (?) don't know why. They are made in China, but seem to be good quality, though they don't have the level of detail of the Toyota units.
