16v?
Some systems are meant for it, but not ours. 16v= things suffer. For instance, my moms TDI Passat has a 16v 120Amp alt, internally regulated that goes to a funky box (assuming a transformer??) before hitting the battery. It puts out some great juice, thats for sure. If the bracket were right I'd put one on my Terc.

Though, a idle of 14.5v is fantastic. Now, if only it maintained that throughout the RPM's and just changed amperage output... Most componants are rated at 14.4v btw. So 14.5 is a good place to be at.

anyway, i got a new alt and it seems ok now
