i jacked up one side of the tercel that works fine in 4wd and spun the front tire 10 revolutions while it was in 4wd and neutral. both tires were marked and ended up in the same place.
then i did the same to the tercel that seemed to be straining when in 4wd and got the same result. i guess i can rule out missmatched differentials.
Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.
