Found this out when doing body work. LT will come close to dissolving it...but not quite...cleans and shines though.

Acetone will dissolve it some.

I was trying to find a way to clear up fine stress cracks in lenses.

I got a bottle at my local AutoZone, it was on the top shelf where they put stuff that management thinks won't sell, and then when it doesn't, it proves how smart they are. Seafoam used to be a "top shelf" item but word of mouth overcame the managers.
