Bought a few 15" alloys off a 92 Camry going to the junker to swap for the steel wheels on the 95 Camry. Got to cleaning them off today, and noticed an rather large section of dirt as I was scrubbing... that's no dirt, someone patched a hole with JB weld!
Now I have to find a 4th wheel, since there's no way that's safe.

it it is not cracked, that is as good a way to fix it as any. it appears they stop-drilled it before they filled the hole. It would have been better to oversize drill out the damage, thread the hole and put a bolt in it, or better, an aluminum threaded plug, sealed up with epoxy or loc-tite. It will have to be balanced after that. but it should not harm the strength. the weak point is the spokes and hubs, that is always where poor quality wheels fail.
