Highest MPG yet

All I know is our Passat has had no issues other than screwy doorhandles and a stupid cupholder design.
Then again, it is diesel.

Just so it's known, I think (at least with moi) that 90% of the issues are settled.

Well I thought I would chime in here. My goal is gas mileage. As a pizza delivery driver and a person who live in the mountains 25 miles from work I need a good mix of power and fuel economy.

Currently I am getting around 25-30 the 25 comes when I run the AC a lot the thirty when I sweat. I will post back after the heavy duty carb scrubbing that has been proposed.

Where are you? I'm 15 and 20 miles away from the big towns. Mountain driving is fun hehe..

Colorado here. Within 20 miles of the CSU stadium.

Over a mile above sea level, a 15 mile drive into town from the mountains... Now mileage hates that. I got 23-24mpg with my foot always in it in my 86. Maybe 86's are just too cool for the other years... lol. I need to get that frame straightened...
