84? dlx/sr5? - skagit, WA - $2150

not sure what to make of this car. says it's an '84 but it has the grill from '85 or '86. rear wiper is missing and windows tinted so i can't see the 3rd brake light so can't use those to help identify the year. has dlx rub strips but has sr5 seats, dash cluster, and inclinometer. body looks good with new paint but sort of an odd paint scheme, and they didn't paint the door jambs. looks like someone had a large wet bowel movement on the back seat.

SR5 cluster replacement from a donor car with the same mile's what are the odds

It is a DLX with SR5 stuff. He may not know this, and may not know the miles might not match up.

Every light, lock, windshield wipers, everything is fully functional.

except the rear wiper?

Somehow, that paint scheme reminds me of an AMC Gremlin. Really!

odd color combo. looks like an '84 dlx with SR5 stuff put on it, seats are from '86 or '87, grill is from '86. but almost certainly it is an '84 chassis, older type alternator and radio antenna on the driver's side. it also looks like it was that redish gold color at one time (from engine compartment picture).

That car is not too far from me, but if I had seen it I would have remembered. I am curious about the owner now.

Could be a good deal if it is in mechanically good condition.

Given they didn't even bother to deal with the rust at the LR dogleg I can just imagine the quality of the work done underneath the "new" paint.
Whats up with the wiper cowl panel??
Looks like a car that was put together from several donors.
And why they wouldn't clean up that stain in the back is beyond me.

looks like it sold. listing was deleted already. the local market is hot for these little cars.
