switching into 4wd?
if there is, I am going to ruin mine...when i feel like being a racecar driver i will shift it in for corners that I want to speed through. I feel like the car is gripping very well.....I will do this at 45-50 m.p.h.

Because it's a locked centre, the faster you go, the more strain is put on the drivetrain. I think this is one of the reasons why people's front diffs explode. The front diff is the weakest part of the link.
If you are in rain/snow/gravel, it is much easier on the car to have it in 4wd at higher speeds. (because the reduced traction on the tires allows them to spin more or less thus relieving the stress from the drivetrain).
