Re: 86 t4 for sale in alameda ca 600
I visited the car in the graveyard today.
It's missing the weber carb and maybe the power steering pump, and wheels (they remove them before they go in the yard).
I tried to get a price on the whole car, but they don't have paperwork yet and won't quote me.
I need an engine, but this car is solid enough to not part out if avoided.
I think it got towed. The seller bought in Washington and got a California title, but could not register it in urban CA. He had it at his sisters, but the HOA complained, so it was on the street without tags, but a temp sticker from his other T4. It looked a little rough because the interior was removed.
I was thinking of offering to store it (but I needed the space for my dead T4, and really need to move out 1 truck, shift some other stuff, than I have room for 5-6 vehicle's!)
It's down for the count, but not out yet
I could pull parts from it if I can't rescue the whole thing
