probably they give up the project,they find no transmission to buy or too expensive to buy so give up,$600 obo for 2 tr4 ,cant beat that,get it petros

I would except I am buried with other projects, and have too much more profitable work to do here.

I do not even know how could them home, I might be able to go out there with an assistant, an extra transmission and tools, get one running and tow the other home. That might take two days, and two people and $400-500 in parts and out of pocket expenses. That is everything goes well, and there are no other major repairs to do. Invariably, with every non-running Tercel I have bought, there were other major issues that needed to be fixed before it would be safe to drive besides the thing the owner says is wrong with it.

If I was retired, maybe. but I can not do it now. they do look like they are worth saving however. but with two project Tercels in the garage now, plus my daily driver, my wife would certainly nix the idea to spend a long weekend to add two more to the collection.

i agree ,petros i have no where to park anymoore,and summer coming up so save that monney for summer fun.i allways think when i buy the tercels 4wd to get them fast cause they rare but looks like there is deals out there allways so i stop at 3.but i keep buy parts for
