generally looks great but there's a few dents in the left rear corner and what looks like rust around the right rear quarter light.

ya i guess i scored. with my 84. in it 2100 after new clutch and tranny swap, still only has 92,000 miles and i have had it 6 months now.
my interior is in better shape but that one has a sunroof. Even living in Cali a sunroof not worth 2 grand to me.

'- Awesome early 1980s style, time warp, plaid seats. All you need it Rick Springfield's Jessie's girl playing on on the radio and *poof* you're back in the greatest decade that ever was. You can get an era appropriate outfit at your local thrift store. I think I'm gonna go put on my Members Only jacket and take a little drive.'

low miles and mint body and interior. Price is perhaps a bit high, but if the mechanical check out, not unreasonably so.

Re: 83 SR5 SF Bay Area $3900
It was amusing to see a thread about the vehicle I was selling.
In case you're curious, I sold this Tercel last night for my full asking price of $3,900. In addition, the buyers paid me $82 for registration fees I had just paid.
The new owners are a nice family who live on a fairly substantial plot of land in a rural, dirt road access, semi-hilly area. This will be their third 4WD Tercel. I feel it will be going to a 'good home', and that has some meaning to me. It will do the duty for which it was built and intended.
I was patient with my sale, maintained a cheerful attitude while listing it, and was confident I'd get my price.
Cheers.
