Gottolovem- I'm not really sure why we went through Mono? but that's the way we came back last night too.

Tercel4wdrules- I replaced the original manifold with another one from the JY. Everything checked out okay on it. Still possible though. The motor is a new re-manufactured motor, so I really hope that it inst cracked.

I've only worked on mulit carbed systems (a carb for each cylider). So when I notice a problem, I check each cylinder individually for three things; compression, fuel, and spark. So a system like ours, one carb for FOUR cylinders, am I right to assume that If one cylinder has fuel, they pretty much all do?
Thanks guys

Yes if you are getting fuel to the manifold then the only possible way that one cylinder is starved is that the valve is not opening on that cylinder VERRY UNLIKLEY with a New remanufactured motor. Even more unlikley having the same exact symptom on two seprate motors.
My money is on one of the parts you changed over like dissy or plug wire.

They are pulling both of the trecels at pick&pull today but have put a new one there this weekend.
I already got a bunch of stuff off of it but there is still alot to be had.TODAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SALE.

You can borrow a dissy with wires to check your car. I bet it solves the problem.

Pulling both!?!?! Damn! thats really sad. Did you find out the year of the new tercel in the yard? I'd go today but I have work in a bit and super low founds.
Thanks man. I'll try and call you tomorrow. I'll bring you back a bell housing/diff too.
Man just went in the garage to find that my battery is all the way down to a 1/4 of a volt.....didnt even know that that was possible. Must of been my dang dome light. It gets stuck on, I have to really slam the door for it to turn off. I can see it flickering in my rear veiw mirror when I down shift too. really annoying. Hopefully I can revive this battery.

Probably need to replace the little switch that controls the dome light on your door!

if it is an SR5, you might go snag the inclinometer to resell to someone on this forum (or use it yourself), before someone else does and puts in on ebay.

I picked up a set of Jetta rims yesterday. I just finished painting them white. I really wish they were not 6" wide, I was aiming for 5". They look a little close to rubbing when at full lock....with out tires.

I'm buying all new valve stems for the wheels.

I have 14x6" alloy wheels on my Tercel4wd, no problems rubbing when turning, even full lock and on bumps. It should not be a problem for you.

Sorry Gottolovem, I haven't made time to play around with the ignition.
I just placed an order for some plug wires, and steering components.
even if it isn't the plugs, I figure new ones wouldn't hurt. Mine are pretty haggard looking.
Refrigerator white LOL. I actually got the idea of using appliance paint from the guy who sold me the rims. I looked it up on line. I guess its sort of a trend, not as crazy as plastic dipping though. I'm a little worried about how well it will hold up to UV rays...

Petros, thanks petros, I'm sure that they'll be okay.
