85 dlx. looks like the sad remains of once cool stripes on the side, which i've rarely seen on the 4wd's. exterior appears decent. chrome-tipped exhaust is funny though.

I'm going to look at this car tomorrow morning! Fingers crossed! Maybe my wife and I will enter the 4wd Tercel world! She currently drives an '89 Tercel, two door hatchback. I drive an '87 LE Van, 2wd. I really want a 4wd vehicle, but need the space the van offers, for work.

welcome to the forum ajamunro, and good luck with the car. if it's not up to your standards, there's also this one for sale in van. it looks quite nice but does sound like it has some issues.

Thanks for the mention. I took the "issues" car off CL for the time being until I figure out what to do with it. Bought a proper compression tester today and found that there is only 50 lbs in #1... could explain a few things about how it's running.
