195 75 14 Tires

Post by terceltoy »

I have a set of 14" Enkei wheels that came on my '84 AL25 and an excellent set of Michelin 195 75 14 tires. Would these tires work? I'm thinking they're just a little too big.

I am running a similar set up, I think I have 205-65 Michelin, should be about the same outside dia. I have no rubbing at all, the only thing that happens is on a strong compression (like in a fast dip in the road), the front drivers side tire rubs on the fender lip a bit. I think I can bend it back and it will not rub at all, my tires are also a bit wider than the 195-75 you have. I think if I loose some weight it also might solve the problem.

Give it a try, I doubt it will give you any serious issues.
