Maybe.
I read here that acetone had a good octane rate, it should take benefit from an advanced setting.
I'll try with my "new toy", the Saab 900 turbo with knock sensor and APC system (adjusts settings to the current octane all trip long) when I've remedied some minor bits and driven a bit to allow comparisons.
