I could have sworn the front wheel bearings where wider. This just doesnt look right to me. Then again, its been some time since Ive done my wheel bearings, so what do I know? Its a TIMKEN 88506-BR

looks like a REAR bearing along with the retainer.
if it aint there, there's a good chance it won't break!
83 SR5 Silver/Blue (Snowmobile/work beater)-totaled but drivable
85 SR5 Blue
88 SR5 White (the 'good' one)-not anymore-totaled
87 fwd silver wagon a/t
87 4wd dx Cream (a/t- not anymore- now m/t)

Your right....it does look like a rear bearing. Hmmmm. Well, back up town I go to see what they'll do to correct this.

Yeah, I sent autozone an email telling them that they had the wrong part listed in there computer. Maybe they'll correct it, hopefully.

The first one I got I thought was a fluke, so I had them order it again to be sure. This is the 2nd one and its exactly the same as the first. Not only that, they only wanted $44 for these, but an actual front wheel bearing from duralast turns out to be $77.

Ill just order from rockauto when I get my money back.

77 for a chinese bearing, don't do it! I buy nothing from the zone.

Get a koyo or OE.

I was gonna get the raybestos one from rock auto. Only reason this last bearing failed is because I myself failed to tighten the axle nut to the correct torque.
