my wife and i bought a camper van with a wood stove to replace the damned westfalia this summer. it was a '90 GMC work van that a boat builder had converted, and it was beautifully done. its stove was a really small cast iron one, and it was so well done. unfortunately, the van was completely destroyed in a car accident just days before we were to take ownership. it was a real loss.

Haircut: Yeap, another example of the differences between euro-trash fashion and Ameri-trash fashion :) If you're gonna wear a hat, wear a hat! No need to cut your hair as one :)

That said, good on him for having enough to pull it off eh?

I think Splatterdog would look awesome with that haircut. :)

D, bummer about the special and custom van :( I hate when that kind of stuff happens. I've been kicking myself for letting go of my 4wd Toyota camper van. 10 years in the making, full insulation, heated. Go anywhere-mobile. Now they're virtually impossible to find in any kind of decent condition. The few that show up are bought in hours for top dollar.

I guess we'll keep making do with our T4wds :)
