You wont believe this but my wife and I camped next to this guy and his wife at a mountain lake in Montana. realy nice people, raised 3 kids on a sail boat in Floridia. was still in process of finishing the inside,quite an outfit

Looks like something you would see in a Japanese disaster/monster movie. Pretty pricy off road camper, seems it would have been more cost effective to start with a well used one since you are going to rebuild it anyway. Where would you get parts for such a beast? How reliable is it?

Way beyond my budget.

i think my biggest question is: what's the point? it looks best suited to heavy duty off-roading or extreme conditions. there's no need for such a rugged vehicle in state or provincial parks. that thing should be used by national geographic in the most hard to reach, unforgiving places.

that being said, it's obviously crazy awesome and i love it.

We see at least two of these uber vehicles each year in my town and usually with european plates

I just saw this vehicle today driving down on my way to Victoria, looked pretty cool I guess

This last reminds me of the inside of a Motel 6 I stayed in in Tom's Excellent Trip Out West in '85; like living in a Tupperware box! It seemed like the room would be picked up and deposited in a giant refrigerator.

My tercel:: Sold my 1987 Tercel Dlx 4x4 Wagon but miss driving it everyday. I don't miss working on it, though.
