1987 4WD 228K Miles Denver CL ad

Not me, found this on CL, Denver.
Not a bad looking auto, but expensive for this many miles!
Dealer ad, so maybe he could be talked down somewhat.
Btw, this car is a dead ringer for the one I own, and has the same nice composite headlights.
However, this one has an automatic tranny, according to the dealer site:

This unit is very clean inside and out. Still runs fine. I personally drove it around. It obviously could use a few things but these are nice little rides.

Cheapest 4WD in Craigslist. Maybe.

looks like it's the same hideous burgundy colour that was ron's namesake. ron has a light brown interior though and this one has the grey/blue interior. it seems like there is no relation between paint colour and interior colour on these cars.

"Michael Ramstetter" works at a dealer and - why waste a CL photo of what you want to sell, to instead show a photo of your Bobblehead doll (action figure?) unless you have an immense ego?

Is a "Sales Consultant" the same as a (GASP!) salesman?
So using a similar euphemism, I am no longer a nut for having a 26-year old car as a DD, but am now an eclectic collector?

I owned an 84 in that burgundy exterior color with a medium brown interior, but my 87 has a grey/black interior, even though it has that same "hideous" exterior (!)
Matches the shade of the rust, and I found some tractor paint that is close for touch ups.
The carpet and seats colors on these Tercels is only surpassed by the truly awful plaid interiors of the early Subaru Foresters.

Ha! You're right, it IS a manual tranny; I only looked on the dealer's web site, not at the photos here. The dealer website has it listed as an automatic...
Boy, if I had the time this week I would check this out.

I guess I hate that color less than most people My echo is that color. Toyota has it corned for decades now Though it probably would have been easier on everyone if they had just made them all rust color from the start.

My two cents: that price is WAY too high for 228K. MAYBE (and I mean maybe) $1500.

it's not the cheapest 4wd on craiglist.

This Tercel is still unsold but now it's gone up in price by almost $1500. to 3990.!! Relisted on Auto Trader. Must be that good Mountain Air.
