I need another project car, thought I would check with all of you. I have been searching CL but have found nothing affordable.
Any mechanical condition, in fact would like one with a junk engine because I am building up an engine now for it. Needs to have a straight body (no wrecks), with minimal rust. I am intending to do a ground up mechanical rebuild, so any suspension, drive train, brake, or engine problems are what I am looking for since this is all going to get replaced anyway. Or if you want to keep the engine for your daily driver, that would be good too (I will even pull the engine for you).
Preferably somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, unless it is safely drivable cross country (or can be made drivable with some repairs). Anywhere from $0 to $500, even more if the body and paint are in good condition.
Thanks

Red, my blue terk is a parts car now and might work for you. It is in need of some (a lot) of mechanical work. It has some rust on the front fenders, a ~2x2 inch patch under the left rear most window (doesn't leak), and the battery box was totally rusted out (which is what kept me from repairing it since I have 0 welding capability/ability). I have a clear title for it. Engine and tranny are bad, sadly, though they are both out. The front diff (one of the bearings on the diff or diff housing is bad and caused the failure), synchros, and oil pump are what is bad on the trans, gears are all good, so a rebuild is possible. The engine came from my new terk and it blew a ton of oil but still had compression, so either the head repair the guy said he did before I bought it was done badly or the wonky vacuum hook ups caused it. If it isn't too rusty for you, shoot me a line and the next time I'm out at my folks I can grab some pics of it and we could haggle a price. It is out in Shelton, Wa btw.
