Wanted: Driver Door Molding

Hi! I bought my 1985 Tercel Wagon SR5 seven months ago in Florida. This is a very rare vehicle in South Florida. It was non-running so had to tow it home! I did head gasket replacement, following Petros' very good advice. I did a tune-up, timing belt etc. Runs great except for a lazy carburator. Now I am on the $50 paint job! Wow! This is lots of work! The driver's door was replaced and has a "small" side molding so I am searching for the large molding that goes with the SR5. Anyone have this molding? Jack

You can paint a wide flat black line on the side of the car to make it match. There is an SR5 in the local yard here in Washington, but it is a 1987 and I think they changed the design a little from the '85, but it should install and look okay. I know the "SR5" logo design changed a little, but not sure of the door trim. Next time I get to see it I will take a closer look at it. Do you want me to get it for you?
