Help- which size timing belt do i need for my 87 terc- does any body know?
1452cc 4x4 THANKS-DEC
its done 90k miles do i need a new tensioner

Size? They sell them by make and model, all for the 3a and 3ac engine are the same (all Tercels '83-86, and '87-'88 wagon). I have never replaced the tensioner, the factory ones seem to hold up well, I would spin it and if it smooth and quiet, reuse it. Some recommend always replacing it, and on some cars that is good advice, but I have not had one go bad on any of the six different Tercels I have owned.

'85 Tercel 4wd DLX auto(daughter's daily driver)
'01 Honda Civic (other daughter's daily driver)
