**71k miles** 1984 Tercel 4WD SR5 on eBay in Baltimore, MD

Post by tercel4wdrules »

I was browsing through eBay and I came across this car. The interior looks clean, but the exterior has some minor rust spots as the seller is noting, but I suppose it's rare to see one of these that hasn't rusted away on the East Coast. It does have very low mileage for the year, it's rather difficult to come across low-mileage examples. I'm curious to see how much it will sell for at the end, their asking price is $3900 for sale locally.

spotless interior. my interior door handles have the same discolouring. i looked the other day and it seems like i can just scrape it off, whatever it is. yet another time-wasting task i can do in my down time at work.

Has the typical out of line glove box latch.

I wonder - do the RHD gloveboxes have the latch at the opposite from our LHD cars?
Maybe this has something to do with the Coriolis effect?

OT, but as I checked for the correct spelling of Coriolis, I learned that the idea of water spinning in different directions in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres is just bunk.
Dang - another belief shattered, to be put on a shelf with Santa and the Easter Bunny...
