that would be worth fixing, even by installing used engine. The last year they made them they had all the right goodies, better seats, better steering wheel, the good halogen composite headlights, sometimes even power windows, etc.

Somebody should rescue this rare '88, if it was close to me I would get it.

Before moving out to Oregon, I was living in Western Mass - in Amherst. Bummed that I can't make this into another project car. Sounds like a good catch to me...

Since I live in MA, I would have rescued this thing, but Wellesley has some seriously f*****-up rules about keeping unregistered cars (even fixup cars) on your driveway and gives you the f****** shit about it! :( It all gets ugly. This exact thing happened with my 83! :( R.I.P. 83! :'(
I do feel bad about this one after reading it though! :( I wish I could have been there and secretly rescued it and hid it somewhere or been a gangster and had it on my driveway and beat up anyone who got in my way bothering me about keeping this car in my driveway! :D I am all :'((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((! :(
