Just took a look at how many active members we have, and I'm pleased that more than a handful of people enjoy the Tercel :) Toyota did a great job on the car. :D

Anywho, I was thinking, would anyone want their own personal email account from tercel4wd.com? Would anyone be willing to pay a few bucks a month for a decent sized email account (decent sized, how big the account would be depends on the person i guess and how much they'd be willing to pay)? You'd get webmail, and POP3 access, unlike google, yahoo, and hotmail accounts.

Not sure if the email idea would go anywhere, but i figured why not give it a try. I'm always thinking of new ways to pay the hosting bill since my web design business has been slow lately. Gimme some feedback, see if the idea is worth pursuing, and tell me what you think a reasonable offer would be :) B)

I already have personal email through my cable internet provider (part of a package), so I don't need another account.

However, I would like to see this forum continue operating (especially with how popular it is becomming). What is the approximate monthly cost of running this forum? Could we come up with a community treasure chest sort of deal where members can make donations to keep the forum afloat?

I think you had some sort of donation system setup, but I don't remember how to do it...maybe we should write a new topic as a sticky on this so people know where they can donate. And if folks want email too, then that is great too!

I don't know the details about it...but if you could post a "sticky" on how to donate a few $ without a lot of sweat....maybe even cheapskates like myself might feel compelled to shell out a little moola now and then....this is a good forum...we need to keep it alive.

How about this! Anyone who donates a few dollars gets an email account! Like Nick would already get one ^_^ Ah, it's too early in the morning to think lol :) Anyone else have suggestions? Thanks to all who alrdy posted :D

The costs aren't terribly much, since the server is mine and I don't really have to pay anyone else except the server company, and I thoroughly researched to get the best deal at a good price :) And being able to take care of the forums always helps, rather than getting those crappy invisionfree sites I always see around lol B) I am always able to cover the bill for the server, but not much more than that. The web design is justttt making enough to pay for all my expenses, so every dollar helps :rolleyes:

And don't worry, this site isn't going anywhere :lol:
