where do you find the later, larger composite headlights? I love the look of those lights, I would love those for my car, but I have never found any.

I keep looking at other models of cars to find something that is close in size so I might adapt them to fit in the earlier style headlight space. So far I have found the '88-89 Tercel headlight is about the right width but is about an inch too short (will have to make a filler panel), and certain years Acura Legund are not too bad either, but still not quite tall enough.

Any other ideas?

The first picture that is shown the headlights sitting on top of the car are from 1988, and the headlights attached to the car are from 1987, but they are both the same size. What I am trying to do is to explain that the 1983 to 1988 tercel models "3 DR/5DR/FWD" front fenders will fit to 4WD.

did you needed to do some change in the car to change the headlights im planingt to put 83s lights inmy 87 tercel

That swap should be easy, going the other way you have to drill a few extra holes in the sub frame. You will need the side marker lights, the headlight trim with the parking lights, and the grill, nothing on the front is compatible with the two light styles.

I need a driver's side composite headlight jug, is your old one still good? I have the early type lights, grill and side markers I can swap you if you need them. Where are you located?

My lights are in good situation but i dint knew you had to change the grill also ,,, where am i located? in souhtamerica, Peru exactly.
