So I got the weber all done and running pretty well.
Had a couple of problems. The fittings on the fuel pressure reg. were leaking so I used some seal all (oil and gas resistant) in the threads to seal it all up.
I also needed a place for the fan temp sensor so I removed the TVSV and put it there. That also leaked coolant so I had to seal that.
The fuel pressure guage still reads pretty low. I'll try adjusting that to see if it can be raised. It may just be that the fuel pump puts out low pressure anyway. In which case I might just ditch the regulator.

Here's a pic.

Since this pic I have also connected the breather hose from the valve cover to the base of the air filter using the metal tube from the original air cleaner. I can put up another pic of that if anyone's interested.
It does run quite well now. Just like people on here have reported better power in lower rpms. I'm quite impressed. The car still has a bit of an uneven idle. When I can get the choke to work (usually when I pump the gas 3 times before starting), it warms up and idles pretty well though. It just wavers up and down a tiny bit.
I'll have to get back with MPG after a tank or 2. I'm not driving it regularly so that may take a while.

Where did you get the carb from? Canadian supplier? I hate ordering from the states!
My carbs are still good but just in case when its time for a replacement I'd like a Cdn solution.
Thanks and nice work!

Ordered the carb on ebay, came from the states. And I ordered the adapter and air filter from Jameng in California.
I too, would probably go canadian if it was available but I assume Weber's are made in the US anyway so whatever.
